relative medium

This series of four works explores the monotony and repetitive nature of life, depicted through minimalist colored planes and the solitude of a single human figure. The slopes and lines symbolize the fine balance between movement and stagnation, while the color compositions capture different emotional states and perspectives.

In the series, the planes merge with the figure, making the person almost a part of the background—a reflection of how easily individuals can fade into the monotony of life. Yet, the perspective suggests hope: each plane, whether rising, falling, or steady, invites contemplation of one’s personal "medium," shaping the relative highs and lows of existence.
